Welcome to the

Medical Literacy Initiative Magazine

The Medical Literacy Initiative is a physician-led initiative with a mission to increase the accessibility of medical knowledge and research. All of our efforts are rooted in a desire to educate the public about basic health topics. We know that having medical knowledge allows people to lead healthier lifestyles and is fundamental in making informed medical decisions. Our writers are passionate leaders in medicine who write about various medical topics in simple, digestible terms to inspire and inform a nonspecialist audience. We also feature the work of aspiring physicians who are students in our Medical Scholars Program.
